Tay, I could hug you for this one. And this:
24. Favorite scene from the books: Meeting Eomer. Henneth Annun. Council of Elrond. Parth Galen. Pyre of Denethor. Go Away, it's one book.
How does one choose just one? But my eyes lit up when I saw which scene you cited first - yes, I know it's not necessarily in order of preference - again, how does one choose just one?
BTW I do agree about the firelight in Strider's eye in Bree - book and movie both, I felt my heart do funny floppy things.
And I nearly cried watching the lighting of the beacons - Howard Shore scored that segment magnificently IMO. Heck, the whole thing was scored beautifully.
