Now Be Thankful

I have been bashing a small piece of fiction around. It is one of those nights when every time I try to write it, I am pulled away with the desire to write something else - (pulled this time into yet another Faramir story... or perhaps two. Cruisedirector, I blame you...) Trouble is, Faramir likes to get his own way, and he has had me wrapped ( Read more... )

1) It is NOT my fault. You have known Faramir much longer than you have known me. *G*
2) WRITE THEM ALREADY! He will not leave you alone until you do, obviously. Smart man.
3) There is no such thing as too many Faramir stories. How many other people write Faramir at all? If it were Legolas stories, then I might say something different!
4) Have you heard Lisa Moscatiello's version of "Now Be Thankful"? I couldn't believe anyone could improve upon Fairport Convention for me, but she did. But then I am a women's folk music slut.

You have already made my day twice, and I haven't even been to bed for Sunday yet! (But I did send that thrice be-thumped story out for first beta... yaayy!)

First - by encouraging my Faramir addiction. It is nice to hear "Write more Faramir" instead of "Is that all you do?" Is that peculiar to this fandom? To gen-fic? To me? LOL!

Secondly, by mentioning Lisa Moscatiello! You have excellent taste! It has been awhile since I heard Lisa sing live - she sang for the group I do concert promotion/production with once, which was lovely for me since I had been a big fan of The New Saint George. AMAZING voice.

Now you have dredged up another memory - time for a quick entry!

Oh, I think I like it here. What took me so long?

Thanks so much! I am always afraid I will only write the same basic story, over and over, and being encouraged not to be afriad to write where my heart is bound is a lovely, lovely thing.

I am glad you liked River of Fallen Stars. There are meant to be more stories centered around Osgiliath, if I can ever get my time organized better. Faramir's connection to the fallen constellations in the River comes from him learning the constellations with his grandfather for the Starlight challenge, As Truly As The Arrow Flies
