He'd managed to ignore the throat clearing, the restless foot and finger tapping, and the off-key rendition of 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall (Although that last had him gritting his teeth and fervently wishing for the ability to render people unconscious with the power of his mind.). He still fondly assumed that if he just ignored Jack long enough, eventually the man would get bored and leave.
He hadn’t counted on the power of office supplies, though.
Daniel looked up, irritated, as a paperclip landed in the middle of the text he was studying. He glared at the grinning Colonel who sat at the other end of his desk and manfully throttled down the urge to...well...throttle him manfully. Or at least throw the very heavy Greek dictionary at Jack’s head.
