Why This Must Be Read: I love stories about Teal'c discovering and exploring the more bizarre aspects of Earth. In this five things, there's an added touch of poignancy as Teal'c not only considers the Tau'ri experience, but also hopes to share the wonders of Earth with Ry'ac.
Teal'c doesn't get much of a chance to be a father on the show. Iawenbemerry offers us a glimpse of the man who wants his son to experience the joys and wonders of the world.
Only Daniel seemed to understand, for he nodded with a slight smile. “One day, the Jaffa will be free,” Daniel said assuredly.
“Just as the Tau’ri are now free,” Teal’c returned. “I want Ry’ac to know that it is possible.”
