As children, they had always known that for Yuri's birthday, he would want to go to the bridge. And for Flynn's birthday, he would want to go to a certain field...

Aw man, nothing beats a good bff fic about those two boys. Really. I especially loved the last bit. It is good to see a hint of the Lower Quarter boy still in Flynn, and the reality of the fact that they might actually have completely reasonable fears about their friendship. It's an interesting angle to take, and one I haven't seen done too often. Yet, of course, to come back and just...let them fall back into their natural roles of best friends is...<3

I could probably babble all day, I tend to be good at that, but I think I'll stop now. :'D Suffice it to say I very much enjoyed it. ^^

This is so, so cute. ;AAA; I love hearing about Yuri and Flynn's childhood adventures, and their closeness back then...it's a very quiet piece, but very effective. ♥

And shyeah, as if Flynn will ever marry anyone but you, Yuri. He knows that he has to make an honest man of you.

A YURI AND FLYNN FIC THAT IS AWESOMELY WELL WRITTEN and not filled with love and lust AND CHILDHOOD STUFF!!

*cough*

I think that you did a really good job outlining the relationship between them, way back when they were little children, all the way through the game and all. People change all the time, and the slight nervousness they may have about what the changes may mean is something not often addressed.

I'd talk more but my brain isn't working right now. In any case, good job!

Totally late comment over here, but-

Oh Jesus. I really, REALLY love this fic. I especially love the ending, with that HINT of that deeper feeling that neither of them acknowledge, that Yuri actively discourages-

asdklfjsdlf I love it. Love love love this interpretation. LOVE.
