Allen seems to be using his poker strategy skills on Lavi, isn't he? Very, very apt. I do like that you seem to have a very seme Allen here, he's in control of the whole situation! And the part about Lavi still being Lavi, still their friend, was very, very sweet.

He isn't [here], but that doesn't mean he isn't in control. ♥ He's just less inhibited, I think. X3 Lavi has things holding him back, and Allen doesn't. *recklessly ignores all stereotypes of seme and uke behavior!*

This was so cute. I loved it. Keep going. Allen was so dominant in here. It made me smile. ^_^

Allen is such an unfaltering character. If he wants control, he takes it. :D And if he wants Lavi to be in control -- he'll take that too. :D *shot* Basically, he can have whatever he wants, and I think he knows it. Bwahaha.

Have I ever mentioned that I love your Allen? Like, seriously? Far too many people gloss over the best points of his character in favor of easy submission to the seme/uke dynamic (see also: height rule). Your Allen is always feisty with a generous dash of conniving and just the right pinch of reservation. And yes, control. The boy is just made of it. *degrades into incoherency*

It's such a shame to throw characterization out the window because of some belief that the act of being uke entails behaving "uke" -- and therefore whoever it is now is uncertain, blushy, modest... Allen is none of those things. Allen's the guy who seduced a robot at no provocation.

And he's always in control of himself and always putting others first. You'll have to work hard to make him let go of that, and even when you think you have, Allen's a good liar and he's probably just telling you what you want to hear. Control and layers are definitely part of his make-up.

RAMBLE but I'm really glad that you like my Allen. XD I adore and analyze him to death so it's always reaffirming to hear that other people approve of what I take away from him.

i totally forgot allen did seduced a robot. lol.

allen is evil and sexy here, i like it.

your analysis of allen is really on spot. allen in the manga is good with his words and handling people, except kanda. sadly, he could have treasure himself more which had made lenalee mad before.

The biggest shame about the "yaoi mindset" is that fangirls tend to bend their favorite boys out of shape just to get a cheap thrill. Kanda probably gets slaughtered the hardest for this cause, but... somehow, it bothers me more when it happens to Allen (-but it botthers me most when it happens to them together, RE: Kanda/Allen *horror*). I mean, it's his series, more or less. We're repeatedly beaten with how driven and strong and determined he is. We've seen all sorts of unthinkable lengths he's been forced to, just to survive. We "know" the most about him and how he functions. And yet. So few people write him with any sort of fluency.

I suppose the most honest summary of my affections and thoughts is this: My ship is not Lavi/Allen. But between you and a certain someone else who knows exactly who she is... I will sincerely squiggle over/write it. With great enthusiasm. You just do it that well.

Casinos should put up posters after he leaves. "Do not play cards with this man." :(

I'm glad you liked!

The easy way your prose flows and takes the story and the reader with it makes me so happy in my braincells. Seriously, reading this is like a breath of fresh air, and I love the way you characterized everyone. The dialogue is very natural, too.

I also enjoyed Lavi and Allen's dynamic a great deal. I can completely see this from them once they've matured a little--easy banter with some undertones, but not enough to drag everything down. I love it, and crud, I think you've made me ship it. XD;; Rats. Like I needed another Lavi ship dfjdflkfjdjflsf;lj;;;

*convertconvertohnoes?* I'm really happy that you enjoyed it~ I'm always worried about overprosing so I'm very glad especially that you think it flows naturally and is easy to read. ;_;

I love their relationship, so I like to think that with good enough fic, I can make other people love it the way I do. ♥
