Drabble: Saix and Axel, "respect"
No warnings, no spoilers, OXIII business. Exactly 500 words, oh snap. Part one round two of my drabble exchange with libekory~ Axel narrative makes me sad, but I'm liking the idea of more drabbles, so I might get around to requesting some of the general public soon. ♥

And then Saix's jealous fit only gets worse, because the seniors sweep into the room, and Xigbar goes, "You look just like my high school girlfriend!" and grabs Axel and kisses him.

:( Then he's not special and Axel gets more pettings.

Their sniping enmity is a lot of fun. XD How did they survive several years without killing each other?

Expect them soon, I feel like another massive drabble party like I did a little while ago. XD

You know I love, that isn't even a question. (Random aside: I note that your Axel, like mine, tried to be considerably more blasé in his recounting of what his being "born" was like than he actually was -- I'm remembering the description of your Ela's backstory, where it was all, "And then he stood up and saw that 'his' program had been successfully uploaded, but he didn't care." And mine told your Roxas such lies about his own not-caring. They're terrible.)

Naturally all of this is leading in to me observing that the paragraph about feeling hollow (and violated) is horribly poignant and I love it to death. Axel's very jaded, one supposes, but you don't start off that way. It's something life does to you. And I love this for that bit of raw pain ( ... )

Axel would like to say, in his defense, that he woke up feeling emotionally solid. It was after that, when he started thinking, that the shakes came. XD He is a total liar though, because memories of Ela's death and the unshakable creepiness of the Heartless will haunt his dreams forever.

Saix is totally a world-class bitch when there's no one who needs to be impressed around to see it. Axel just has to take advantage of you.

(Oh, and we played out immediately after it, when Axel was recovering from "WTF!!" by being shakily snarky. I'll poke Crysi and make sure she's okay with sharing that part. XD )
