AnAn Magazine ~ Kamenashi Kazuya (partly translation)

Dec 01, 2011 17:38

I've imposed on my friend kat_tun_4_evertoday, using her laptop abusively and managed to translate a small part of Kame's interview from AnAn. It's not much, it's just a tiny bit which I hope will shed some light on the purpose of such a photoshoot XDD

I don't know if I'll be doing the rest since I don't have a laptop, but if I do, I'll gladly share with you ^^

So, please enjoy the mini-interview of Kamenashi Kazuya~~~

Boy-page part (lol)

Women with make-up and women without make-up. Which one do you like?

I like both. Though because women who wear make up take a longer time, those who don't wear make-up have a more special feeling, no? But, for example, going to a party which requires a fine dressing code and make-up, it makes the heart flutter too.

Do you like for girls to change their make-up on a daily basis?

Blending and changing clothes according to the situation, isn't that a great and wonderful thing? Because the era of make-up is constantly changing, that's why I think (t/n: for girls) it's necessary to learn about this.

The woman in front of you is always wearing the wrong make-up. What will you say?

"Ah, you've changed it today?" I'll say honestly/unaffected. Be it a man or a woman, I will notice the small changes immediately. As for make-up, women who make one go "ahh.." are the best, right?

Girl-page part

What about the feeling of having a dramatic transformation?

Using crimson red rouge/lipstic, it gives off a magical feeling, no? While painting my lips red, I became worried "Will this be alright...?" but I soon got used to it, giving the feeling of a habit. Thanks to this, I went full-throttle with the aura of "I want to be beautiful".

For Kamenashi-san, what does make-up means?

It's the switch for getting ready to work. For example, when going on-stage, because I have time to put on foundation and draw my eyebrows, thanks to this, I can go through the plan of having a dignified appearance.

If you were a girl, would you do your make-up steadily?

Yes. Because I believe it to be fun to do. There is also a huge wave of wearing Western-style clothes among girls, so make-up nowadays is girls' true feelings. But I can't draw myself with eyeliner (t/n: to show his true feelings), right?
