Day One of Thirty
I am totally swiping this idea from capearce.
For the past 134 years, I've done nothing but write about TallGuy and it's always a friends-locked post, which, I am sure, is boring for everyone to read except for myself. So I'm stealing his "Write one thing every day" template and writing one thing every day. I can't guarantee that it won't involve TallGuy somehow, and I can't guarantee that it won't be boring as hell, but at least there will be a little variety.
If I start today and write every single day for 30 days, this will take me right up until the day that I leave for Vegas.
Day 01 | Your favorite song
This changes pretty frequently. When I find something that I like, I tend to play it non-stop, over and over, until I get fucking sick of it. Then I put it down for a while and move on to something else. Eventually I cycle back around and pick it up again and play the hell out of it as if I'd never heard it before.
My current favorite is Hurricane by 30 Second to Mars (featuring Uber Douche, Kanye West), from their album This is War. The first time I ever heard it, I knew that it was going to be one of those songs that I would be playing the hell out of for the rest of eternity. I just love it. I love the strings, I love the beat, I love the melody, I love the way they sing over each other.
Really, the whole album is fucking awesome, but this song is definitely my favorite.
