I really like this: Akira giving up go and Hikaru trying to bring him back through the only way he knows how, the way he himself was brought back.

Within minutes of getting my prompts, I decided on this one... and then it got all angsty as I was plotting. I didn't want to kill off Touya-papa and Touya-mama! But, it was all for the greater good of HikaAki?

I was so insanely worried you wouldn't like this because it wasn't anything near what I was intending to write, but I do kind of like how it turned out, so I'm very happy you like it as well. Happy Fifthmus!

I wasn't sure what to expect with the warnings of angst and character death- I'm happy that it turned out to be nothing like my warped brain was imagining. I love the reversal- Akira having to be talked back to Go this time instead of Hikaru, and Hikaru being the one to do it. I think the thing that really stuck out to me, though, was that Hikaru didn't dishonor Isumi by telling Akira what had happened during the pro exam. You'd think if he told anyone, it would be Akira... but I'm really glad he didn't.

And, of course, the last line made me smile. Nice. <3
