It was COMPLETELY out of the blue. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad he said it, I've been harboring a crush for him for years. He's a writer and I met him when he was working on some small press stuff several years ago. He got picked up by marvel for a while and now he's going off to do some military stuff....I'm not ENTIRELY sure what the hell they could want with a writer...but apparently he'd gone hunting for some info on a story he was working on and wound up talking to some higher up whatever, taking a bunch of tests...and signing a contract.
So, since he's going to be "unavailable" for a good long while, he just wanted to get that out there I guess...
