 It really annoys me but my parents are not confrontational people and thus I was not raised to be one either.  I mean, I don't really know how my parents act in their professional lives.  I know they do speak up if something is unfair at work or my father once worked for these incompetent assholes so he quit and started his own company.  But

It's true and I agree with that article in a certain extent, especially seeing my parents, my father especially, who, although highly competent and accomplished, is not a macho alpha male at all.

I on the other hand, I think am often written down as a quiet, meek, Asian girl, but I'm proud to say that I can be extremely confrontational when the time calls for it.
