[For Marco he sounds a little tired. And while the chocobo chicks go unseen, you can hear them making sounds in the background, of wherever Marco is hiding out.]

I know this is a touchy subject. [Because he doesn't even want to talk about it, but it has to get done, sooner rather than later.] But if at all possible, can anyone tell me about the ( Read more... )

Battle tactics?

Yes. It seemed like there was a war that wiped Discedo out, so I was thinking of back home and the buster calls, but if that was the case, there'd be a lot less standing here. A lot less.

...less? [hmm weird]

I see... Perhaps. That disease, as well...

Is there any way the disease could have been brought by an act of war?

Yes, I believe that would be possible...

Hn. Unpleasant. Does... can that happen in your world?

Aside from a devil fruit user, I'm not sure that would work in my world. Just as well, since there are enough problems with natural illnesses. Medical staff are highly prized, eh.

The fascinating thing about biology is that things can change so quickly. It makes a useful weapon for large masses, I suppose...

[PAUSE.]

But I am speaking too much on this topic. If it is military tactic Marco-san is interested in, I know a bit... [even more quiet now] ...Though, perhaps if you have the time, you could ask America-san about his methods during the war I have yet to participate in.

Ah, or we could always speak about my own experiences.

I'd appreciate hearing about your own, mate.

If it's not too painful.

It might apply to things here.

[Or you know, more importantly, to his own upcoming battles back home.]

In that case, may we speak in person? I am fine for any time, but I would prefer not to speak so seriously over the network.

Of course.

Where are you or would you prefer to meet somewhere else?

[THUNDERSTORMS TODAY... and yet he still thinks for a moment.]

If it is alright with Marco-san, we can speak in my classroom.

All right. I'll bring the birds, eh. [Because yeah, thunderstorms = birds need cuddles, shh.]

Which number was it again?

Very well.

[AND THEN HE GIVES THE NUMBER because I can't remember stuff...]

I will wait for you.
