immigration frustration

I confess; I do not understand the US policies for visas and immigration. Perhaps someone can explain them to me?

Currently, I'm flabbergasted because the lovely British songstress that I have a bit of a musical crush on, Lily Allen, has had her visa revoked and therefore had to cancel her US tour. (via spin.comThis seems to be a recurring problem

i never understood that either. i've seen that happen to various bands and musicians on occasion and it just doesn't make any sense to me.
