"Whoops is right." Charlie made a face at Tonks, as she seemed to be getting some disturbing sort of amusement from his torpid legs. He could feel her shaking slightly in his lap- but thought it was perhaps, her laughing. Why else would she be shivering, or whatever it was?

And then- suddenly, she started trying to get up- managing to elbow Charlie in the side in the meantime. But for some reason, she wasn't able to get herself to the floor. Charlie grinned. "You think?"

Wondering listelessly where Tonks thought she was going, he attempted to stand up- like he had before- but had a dizzy feeling of 'doom'- like he was standing on the edge of a cliff and a strong wind was picking up. So, he sat back down with a laugh. "I think I'm stuck too. If I get up, we're going to fall."

Charlie laughed as Tonks giggled, squealed, and wondered how she was going to survive. He, on all fours above her, was being held to the spot- by Tonks and her rather iron grip.

"I do too-" Charlie argued, leaning over her and reaching for the vodka bottle that had been set on the floor. He grunted with the exertion, but managed to bring the bottle back- and without clocking Tonks in the head. He grinned triumphantly down at her. "Drink?"

“You are also a horrible liar…. Bloody wanker.”

When Charlie started leaning, Tonks let him go, thinking he was going to allow her to escape. But then he returned and had with him a bottle. She tried to lean up and look at him better, but there just wasn’t room for her to sit up properly and even drink from said bottle.

“OH sure- how am I going to do that? …Do you have a straw?” She struggled again and was triumphant in sitting up on one elbow.

“You want me to keep drinking so I’m more unsteady than you are, so you look better…. Don’t you?”

"You seem to have some sort of fascination with the idea of me being a wanker. But I won't ask questions."

He grinned down at Tonks and sat back on his heels, opening the vodka. It was only then he realised he didn't have anything to hold the drink- but, he shrugged it off. The bottle worked. "Yes, that is my evil plan. You caught me- Bottoms up!"

Charlie upped the bottle and took a quick, but large, swallow of the spirits. "Egh- would you like a drink?"

Tonks guffawed. Fascination?! Fascination! She couldn’t believe he would conclude something like that about her.

“Excuse me? You are a wanker. I’m not fascinated about it…I’m not even thrilled about it. But there you have it, that’s what you are.” She wobbled up to rest on both of her elbows now as Charlie leaned back to sit on his heels. She had a right mind to lift one of her legs up really quick and hard, and see what happened. Ok, she wasn’t that cruel- but only when sober ( ... )

"I am proud- highly proud- of your endurance." Charlie said with a very straight face, knicking the bottle from Tonks and turning to set it on the ground a few feet away. In his current state, Charlie found it was rather difficult to remain- squatting as he was.

"At your mercy, hm?" He grinned, lifting off of his heels, and planting himself back on all fours. He, like Tonks, shook his head in a vain attempt to dispell the feeling of his own throat distintegrating. "What would happen if you were at my mercy??"

Charlie contemplated the girl from above and then, in a much softer way than she had, swooped in and gave her what could only be described as a tender kiss.

Tonks beamed a rather crooked smile as Charlie announced his pride without hesitation, and it even made her chuckle. He better be proud, she couldn’t understand how she was handling his liquor, but somehow she did- every time.

When he took the bottle away, she was more than happy to be rid of it, but was distracted by Charlie’s words, and his repositioning. It made her release a breathless laugh, to which the words ‘Oh, I’d never be at your mercy!’ would have quickly followed. But as she let the last of her instant amusement out, Charlie had silenced that, which would have been said, with his lips.

Tonks had to inhale quickly; the motion of their lips together again surprised her and awoke the warmth she had felt before to flush over her chest, again. She was stunned, and her thoughts were muted, save one. Oh Merlin… we are kissing…again! However, the shock of Charlie’s action quickly passed, and Tonks’ eyes were closed after a mere second, as she was overwhelmed by the pleasurable action. She tilted and twisted her head to join ( ... )

Following when lead, Charlie lowered himself off of his hands and knees, and laid himself gently next to Tonks, as she moved off of her elbows (seeing as crushing her was not in his best interest at the moment). He then maneuvered his hands to cradle Tonks- one hand slid behind her head and the other to the nape of her neck.

Not feeling the same longing and desperation as before, Charlie was able to take time and indulge in the kisses- his lips caressed hers in a heavy, but ardent way.

And his brain didn't even stop him once to ask him what the fuck was going on. In fact, his brain wasn't really doing the commanding anymore.

Bodies in motion- slips of hands and repositioned posture did not jar Tonks in her task of enjoyment. She welcomed a bracing cradle of Charlie’s arms, and finally being able to use her own, she turned to face him more as her hands moved to touch a shoulder, and wrap near his chest ( ... )

Despite lacking brainpower, at the moment, Charlie could still feel (surprising, I know). His emotions were riding very high- and his heart was racing in return, his blood roaring and pounding in his ears. It was all rather defeaning. But really, he was shocked by how- as cliché as it was- how alive he felt. Even with Viorica, everything felt like an act of necessity, rather than passion; not that it was clinical, but.

Charlie welcomed the feeling of Tonks' parted lips with a murmur of his own. He moved his hands down- down. "Hey-" He managed to whisper, breathlessly, pulling back only an inch or so. "Tonks-"

Tonks groaned as Charlie pulled away, for the sensation of hands moving over her sensitive yet bewildered body was alarmingly demanding her attention ( ... )

"What do you think-" Charlie began, his voice still low- but was cut off when Tonks kissed him mid-sentence. He laughed, "About moving somewhere a little more comfortable?"

He shifted on the hard wood. It wasn't usually this uncomfortable- (yes, sometimes he laid on the floor) but, for some reason, tonight Charlie could feel the grain and how solid it was.

Not to mention he could also feel Tonks pressed up against him and the bed wasn't too far away.

His words were a bit jumbled, but she did understand what he said after a moment’s concentration. And the way Charlie shifted, which forced Tonks to alter her position, made her decide he had a good suggestion ( ... )

Charlie, feeling impossibly heavy, managed to sit up as well. He smiled at Tonks before twisting to look about the dark room. Where to? They'd done the whole chair thing... there were crates? The table. Or the bed. Which happened to be the closest.

The decision wasn't hard. "There?" He asked, pointing like a child might at the bed. It was really more of a mass of mattress, pillows, and blankets- but, still.

Charlie got up on his knees. So far, so good.

Tonks saw Charlie sit up, which made her giggle softly at his struggle. He looked just as tired and lifeless as she felt, but for some reason, she only just started to feel this way. When they broke apart it had happened.

His gesture led her to look at the bed again, and she nodded that she would go, no questions asked. It looked comfortable, and that was the aim of this new adventure. Tonks rolled to get on hands and knees, just as Charlie started maneuvering, and instead of doing anything else….she just started crawling toward the bed without trying to get up on her feet. Thank Merlin the bed was close, for her knees were killing her as she went about her odd traveling. But she was finally rewarded in her efforts by falling- face first, into the mattress. Her legs were still on the floor, dangling off the side, but her head was happily rejoicing the feeling of softness beneath her ( ... )

Charlie laughed as Tonks dragged herself towards the unkempt bed. He then planted his hands back on the ground and followed suit. "Brilliant idea."

Wavering slightly, but not quite falling over, Charlie made his way slowly to the bed- where, upon arrival, he pulled himself up just as Tonks' legs disappeared over the side.

Suddenly, it seemed that the little sleep he'd gotten in the past week caught up with him like a ton of bricks. But Charlie wouldn't have it. He turned on his side once again and pulled himself closer to the rather lifeless body of Tonks.

He then began to-- pick up where they'd left off, if you will.
