Molly's afternoon with Katie had gone well, and she was certain that even if she had been anything but welcoming of her daughter-in-law when Charlie's marriage had first been announced, she would still be able to have a pleasurable relationship with Katie. After returning to the Burrow, she hung her cloak up and slipped off her shoes before going in search of her husband. Once she had checked the ground floor, she headed upstairs and smiled when she saw that he had camped himself on the bed with one of his magazines.

She leaned in the doorway of their room for a moment, folding her arms over her chest to watch him before moving into the room and towards the bed. She then proceeded to crawl up and settle next to his side, pressing a kiss to his cheek. She was in such a good mood that she wasn't going to complain about the magazine, as after all, he was allowed to read what he wished, and finding him inside the house was much better than finding him out in his shed upon her return.

"Evening, love."

"Hullo, love!" Arthur grinned sheepishly when she kissed his cheek. He had been so absorbed in the magazine that hadn't realized she had entered the bedroom. He was glad she was home though. He had missed her today, though he was glad that she spent time with their daughter-in-law. "How did your evening with Katie go?"

He wanted to tell her about everything he had read in the magazine, but he knew to wait until after she had told him about her day. He leaned over and kissed her cheek, waiting to hear what she had to say.

She slid her arms around him after he had kissed her cheek, snuggling into his side. She was glad that she was home, even though her afternoon with Katie had gone fairly well. She rested her head on his shoulder and thought for a few moments before she answered, giving him a gentle squeeze.

"It was lovely, Arthur. She might actually believe I wasn't mad at her in the first place now."

If there was one thing Molly hated, it was starting off on the wrong foot with people, and even though she had talked to Katie before she married Charlie, she knew she had given off a bad impression on Katie's first visit, and she was determined to continue to make up for it.

"How was your evening?"

"Oh good." He smiled and put his arm around her. He was glad things went well for her. Keeping the Weasley women happy was a hard, difficult but necessary job. He should probably contact Charlie soon, they needed to have a meeting in the shed. He needed to know the Weasley facts of life.

"It was good. I've been reading." He held up the magazine briefly then put it on the nightstand. "They have this thing now, ceeloolar fellytones. They don't need to be plugged in. They're like the wireless, only for fellytones. How brilliant are those muggles?" He grinned and wiggled his toes, he was a bit embarrased but he had recently started doing that when he got excited about something.
