A Day at the Spa

Stella was exceedingly happy that Charlotte had invited her along for this 'spa day'- the past two months had not been pleasant, even though Caleb had come back nearly a month ago. She'd still been doing a bit of catching up with all her classes, and exams had been brutal this week.

So, a day at the spa to kick off her vacation sounded like a lovely idea, indeed. Stella flooed back from Hogwarts, put a few things away and changed into some more casual clothes for their outing, making sure to grab a pair of sandals for after the pedicures. It didn't take too long, though, and she was soon apparating to Diagon Alley, appearing not far from Finnigan's.

Stella smiled upon entering, seeing Charlotte comfortably ensconced in a cozy chair, sipping at a cup of tea.

"You're sure this baby isn't coming today?" Stella laughed, shaking her head at how much bigger Charlotte had gotten since Stella had seen her last. "You are absolutely glowing, though. Thank you so much for inviting me along to do this."

Charlotte perked when she saw Stella coming in the front door. Finnigan's was all decked out for Christmas, she had insisted, the same as she had insisted with her own shop. Even though it was a business, it was still Christmas time. She smiled and patted her tummy with her free hand, "She will not come today if she knows what is good for 'er." she said with a small smile to her friend, "I want my toes to be pretty before anyone 'as to see between zem!" she laughed.

"And t'ank you for accepting, mon amie. I 'ave not 'ad girl contact for far too long."

She set her cup down and moved to lumber herself up out of the chair, goodness, she hoped she wasn't this big with all of Seamus' babies. "Zere is so much to do yet before she comes."

Stella smiled at Charlotte- the younger French girl had grown into a good friend over these past months, and Stella was glad that they both, as Charlotte said, had someone to do 'girl things' with.

"Well, I'm on vacation now until the next term starts up, so just let me know if there is anything I can do to help out," Stella nodded, watching carefully to make sure Charlotte got out of the chair without too much difficulty.

"So, where are we headed today? Hopefully someplace close by?" Stella wasn't worried about herself, of course, but was concerned about getting Charlotte somewhere all in one piece!

"Oui!" she laughed, "No waddling all ze way across ze town." she chuckled, "It is a day spa just outside of ze Alley." she said with a nod. Yes, she could walk that fafr. It would be good for her. She'd been sitting down too much lately.

She grabbed her purse and waddled her way over to the bar to give her husband a kiss good-bye before she set off with Stella, "We finally got ze baby's room done. Ze curtains finally came in." she said with a smile to her friend, "Just like I wanted, it is a pretty blue green color with those bunnies."

"And now I am trying to get 'is family to come 'ere for ze 'oliday. It is not as easy as a t'ought zat it would be." she admitted, "You are going to bring ze flowers, oui?" she asked, as they walked off towards the brick wall that would let them out of Diagon.
