Draco had picked up his robes a few days before, and after some very minor alterations, had purchased them.

He did like some of the more sedate outfits Evie had put together, though he couldn't help thinking some might think there was more to his wearing her design than simply helping a classmate out.

He entered the shop, somewhat relieved at the few people present. Certainly, that wasn't good for Evie, but it would allow for him not to have a grand entrance, something he distinctly did not wish for tonight.

He stepped up to Evie and her mother. "Good evening, ladies. How are you tonight?"

Evie beamed at seeing Draco Malfoy arrive, wearing the robes she had custom-made for him--she always took a great deal of satisfaction in seeing her own designs being worn. "Good evening, Draco. We're just lovely, thank you." True, the shop was not full of customers yet as she'd hoped it would be, but the night was still young. "And thank you for coming! Would you like some champagne?"

Sela, who was already pouring a third flute, smiled as she offered it. "Good evening to you too, Mr. Malfoy. How is your family?"

Draco took the offered flute nodding. "Thank you, Mrs Moon." He hoped more people would arrive. His own appearance was announcement enough without being the only personage of true note.

He took a sip after raising his glass to Evie. "You have a beautiful grand opening, Evie. I hope it is everything and more you want."

"You're very welcome," Sela replied, and she went to walk around the shop and straighten clothes on the mannequins here and there, leaving the young people to talk alone.

"Thank you very much." Evie accepted the compliment and well-wishes as gracefully as she knew how. It seemed like it would be churlish to say that she wished there were more people, so she simply smiled. It was only the beginning, after all--she was sure there would be more of a crowd later on. "I'm glad to be here tonight--it's a dream come true. Tell me, how is your work?"
