Location: Flourish and Blotts, Diagon Alley
Characters Involved: Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy
School was beginning soon. The approach of September the 1st had meant little to Harry in recent years, but it did this time around, because--although he would not be formally returning to Hogwarts--this was the year he intended to finally complete his education, take his N.E.W.T.s, and enter Auror training, assuming all went according to plan (and he and Snape didn't murder one another in lessons). It was rather nice to think about something so unerringly normal for once, as opposed to Ministry insanity, protests, and his friends being in terrible danger. It had occurred to Harry that there was at least one book he was still missing for his upcoming lessons, so he decided to make his way to Diagon Alley to get it from Flourish and Blotts. Perhaps he might even find some decent pots and pans somewhere so that Hermione would stop complaining about his deplorable lack of proper kitchen equipment.
The bookstore was his first shop, where all the textbooks were conveniently out on display. He made his way down the aisles in search of a new N.E.W.T. level Potions textbook, rather regretting that he couldn't use Snape's anymore, as it had been incredibly useful.
