Stella was in a very good mood- she and Caleb had spent a wonderful time together the evening before, and she was going shopping! She was also looking forward to getting to know Charlotte a bit better- Stella had enjoyed all of their interactions so far, and since Caleb was now working for the Finnigans, it seemed like a good idea to get to know Seamus's wife.

Dressed in a comfortable, summery outfit- a tailored plain white t-shirt with a knee-length skirt pattered in green and gold, Stella arrived at Finnigan's just after 11, spotting Charlotte at the bar.

"Bonjour, Charlotte," Stella called, smiling at the younger woman. "How are you?"

Oh Stella looked completely steller! It was so nice, she looked bright and sunny and cheerful, "Bonjour, Mademoiselle Stella!" she said, moing to get up off the barstool. She was very ready to go and get away from her husband for some much needed girl time.

"I am tres bonne, et tu?" she asked, beaming, she was so looking forward to some girl time, sure she had it with Susan at the shop, but still! This was shopping, the last time had been for her wedding dress with Fleur.

"I'm wonderful," Stella smiled, noting that Charlotte's 'glow' that she'd noticed at the Malfoy's party hadn't faded one bit. "Remind me to thank Seamus for giving Caleb the night off last night." Stella was more than pleased that the Finnigan's had given Caleb such a good opportunity, and was grateful for their support of him.

"So where are we headed today?" Stella asked, not quite sure of Charlotte's plan. She had mentioned needing to get maternity clothes, but Stella wasn't aware of too many places in Diagon Alley that sold such things. "The last time I went shopping was with Caleb," she smiled, remembering the day. "But he was difficult to shop with."

"Bonne." she said with a nod, giving her a small smile. She had been talking some with Susan about Susan's future plans and it seemed that they didn't really mesh with the bookstore. She knew that while she was married to the bookstore, her friends were not. Perry had moved on and she suspected that Susan would as well, should the opprotunity present itself.

"We value our employees personal lives." she assured Stella as she moved to get her purse and her shawl. She tended to get cold for no reason these days. "I was t'inking zat we could go into London for maternity clothes and some ozer t'ings. I need to start decorating for ze baby room and Socrates needs a new collar."

"I will try not to be difficult as Caleb, but I might 'ave to stop a lot. Zis creaky one likes to make 'er mommy go to ze bat'room much."

She meant cranky, but she just couldn't seem to get that into her vocabulary.

Charlotte smiled to her friend and nodded as the sho girl came back with a bright smile, assuring her that they did carry Peter Rabbit things, along with many other nuetral lines. She took them off to show them the catelouge that they would have to order it through and the small amount of things that they could buy there at the store.

Charlotte couldn't stop herself from buying a rather large, baby friendly snuggley rabbit. It was more for her then the baby, but that was okay. She asked Stella's opinions on blanket choices and what kind of crib she should get, round or rectangle.

It was entirely too much fun looking through the catalogue with Charlotte, and then wandering through the store picking out things they liked. Stella found that Charlotte's tastes were very similar to her own, which made the process a lot easier as well!

They finally left after scouring nearly every inch of the shop, Charlotte carrying the stuffed rabbit and a few other items in a large shopping bag.

"Now for clothes-" Stella thought for a moment, trying to recall if she remembered any maternity shops in the surrounding area. "We'll find you cute things, I promise. You're glowing far too much to make you wear ugly clothes."

It was rather satisfactory to leave the store with the essentials taken care of. It distracted her. She smiled to Stella and nodded, the shop girl had told them a few maternity places but they weren't really nearby. She squeezed her rabbit and gave Stella a smile.

"Seamus says zat I must come back wit' pants."

Having finally thought of a place she recalled that was not too far off, Stella grimaced for a moment as she and Charlotte began walking.

"I don't think slacks would suit you very well," Stella said, shaking her head at the idea. "I was thinking more along the lines of some leggings with long shirts over them. Then you can still feel pretty, and Seamus won't have to worry about you tripping over a skirt."

Stella smiled, the image of Seamus as a first-year student floating into her head. "And if he complains, just tell him it was my idea. I have no problems with coming over to lecture him if I need to."
