This idea of yours sounds like perfect fodder for self-serving exploitation. This winter's Tokyo collection was never seen in the U.K., and I've been itching to do a Genji-esque tribute with a few new pieces.
And what an extraordinary bauble this is! You must give me it's entire sordid history upon our next meeting.

Post-script: You'll never believe for whom I'm designing a gown for this nauseating Hogwarts celebration affair.

Glad I can be of use. (what a masochistic notion.) Although beside the point, I would say that I prefer the stoic nordicism of Hokkaidō to vulgar progressiveness of Tokyo. Going off on a tangent there, rather enthusiastically, as always. However--[unintelligible scratch-outs]
Your sagacity amazes me, beloved brother. It is quite fascinating, the history behind the Genji silk-screen: I bought it from a Norwegian smuggler in Murmansk a few years ago, during the 'golden' age. Don't ask what I was doing there- suffice it to mention: extreme right-wing northern European affairs. This is the point from whence I know the print's history, although I do suspect it must have been stolen from Amano himself. I contacted him later on and acquired the whole Genji set. (Even if he is a Muggle, you have to remember he is a Japanese one, which makes things better.)
Will do, once I overcome the nausea, hahah.

P.S. Who? (Please, do not tell me it is for someone from the saintly Potter's coterie- that would be too hilarious.)

Yes, Tokyo--like Milan, as you already know--is more a business necessity than anything else. Perhaps I'll buy a little house in Hokkaidō. It would be secret affair, of course, and I'd hide it next to a stream, in a grove of black cherry trees.
But what a wonderful story! These narratives behind objects like this are almost as interesting as the objects themselves. I cannot wait to see your comprehensive collect.

P.S. It is! Oh Montague, you do not know how hard I am laughing now. With the appropriate drum roll and cheesy cymbal bang: Hermione Granger will be wearing the newest original Me.
