Dear Headmistress McGonagall,

Thank you for offering us this chance of reconnecting with some of our audience. My bandmates and I would be delighted to deliver our newest performance before your students on March 3, as is asked.

As for the fee, please, do not bother yourself with it. While I realize that you might not agree to leave the performance unpaid, I would offer you a symbolic price of 50 galleons for the whole concert.

Your offer is most generous!

Etiquette would dictate that I attempt to refuse such an offer, or at least insist on coming nearer the true value of your performance. However as our intent is to increase our funds available for the less-fortunate of the war-orphans to be able to come to Hogwarts, I will satisfy myself with being very appreciative of your generousity on behalf of the children who will benefit from it for years to come.

We plan to host the Ball in the evening after a Quidditch Exhibition. I am quite certain your presence will dramatically increase our attendance and fund-raising efforts.
