Each Top Ten Bachelor and Bachelorette are sent glossy envelopes with their names embossed upon them. Instead of saying simply "Esteem Bachelor / Bachlorette" the letter also in includes their name... The owls refuse to move until given a response to take back to Calliope, well trained beasts that they are....

While I do appreciate the offer, and I'm sure this is a very worthy cause, I'm afraid I've got to decline your invitation to the auction. It's autumn now, so there's loads to be done at work. What with the harvesting and the readying for winter. And you're not interested in any of this so why am I discussing it?
