Owl To Mr Charlie Weasleyfi_adminAugust 20 2006, 03:24:27 UTC
Dear Mr Weasley,
It is delightful to hear from you again, particularly in regards to my need for Quidditch Coaches.
I am deliberately saving the details until the Ball on the 26th, but please send your resume to Hooch as soon as possible.
I do need to warn you, at the present time, all of my inquiries have come from former Gryffindor students, or from individuals from outside the country who never attended Hogwarts as a student. I will need to be assured that the chosen coaches will be able to be unbiased - or at least favourably biased toward their assigned team.
It is impossible to explain further at present. Suffice it to say that I think it is high-time Hogwarts expanded its Quidditch program to reflect an understanding that Quidditch is just as viable a career-choice as any other for which we prepare our students.
With Warmest Regards, Minerva McGonagall Headmistress Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Headmistress,
Aha. Well- I can't say I would have any problems coaching for another House. Most of the problems arise from stereotyping, am I right- which I'd like to consider myself above at this point. Anyway, thanks for the warning. I will definitely keep it in mind.
Will send the resume straight away.
And, yes. I couldn't agree with you more. Hogwarts has always had good players (and I don't just say this thinking of myself). However, does that mean then, that Quidditch will be more than a game- in respect to workload and such?

Mr Weasley,
Yes, it will be more than just a game in respect to workload. Though the game will be the primary focus - teaching the rules, techniques, sportsman like conduct and the like.
I really cannot say any more at present - I have to keep some 'surprises' up my sleeve for a while yet.
Hold onto your curiosity until Saturday, if you can bear it, and most of your questions ought to be answered by then.
Sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Headmistress, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
