Theodore, warned earlier by Snape's promise to "be there at dawn", woke up early to arrange a light tray of breakfast foods for his guests (friends? acquaintances? customers?). He laid it out on a side table while the mass of his family's paraphernalia occupied the main table:
He stifled a yawn behind one hand as the sun crested over the hills and plucked a crumpet off of the tray. Various foodstuffs included sausages, eggs, croissants, crumpets, pancakes and fruit. Theodore tended to eat heavily in the morning, but even this was too early for him.
The main table took up most of the room, with the werewolf-skin rugs hanging over chairs at the back end. He'd organized the dangerous items the farthest from the door, werewolf-skin rugs and all. There were simply too many boxes of books to fit on the table, and so he'd had the house-elves rest them in a line on the opposite side of the table.
There were almost fifty books to a box, and the boxes were stacked three high in a line of approximately forty boxes long. This, of course, did not include any of the few hundred that Theo had removed for personal use.
Theo supposed that it was a good thing that Snape had requested dawn.
He was certainly going to need it.
