An Unexpected Gift

A whipcrack of sound reverberated throughout the walls in an alleyway, followed by a sigh of relief. Colin had his back to the wall, catching his breath. Every time he would Apparate, he always felt he'd die early from a heart attack. He had brough Jasper along with him, who was placed in one of those dog carrier bags with the netting materials at the sides. His head was poking out of the bag, and he looked rather comfortable.
Colin checked to make sure Jasper had made it one piece, and nearly panicked when he saw that he lacked a tail.. He then remembered that Corgis, well, didn't have much of a tail. Once the coast was clear, he exited the alleyway, looking around for the Post Office.
Ah! There it was.
Once he made it to his destination, he began to rock slightly on his heels, waiting for Hermione.
