After spending the entire morning and most of the early afternoon in a hateful sort of mood, Terry was finally able to leave Hopping and Aperture's- with the permission of Mr Hopping, who seemed happy to see the boy go. The entire staff was a little off this Monday, to be honest- for reasons Terry didn't bother fathoming ( ... )

The sound of her name came as a startle as she turned around to see who had been addressing her. Not immediately recognizing the man squinting at her and worrying that she had perhaps wronged him in some way from the frown on his face she tentatively stepped forward. Her head cocked slightly with a puzzled expression.

Truthfully she was getting used to running into people who recognized her on the street. Being married to Bill Weasley led many an awkward situation when his mates from school recognized her, or not recognizing her feel prey to her blood. And that whole Tri-Wizard Champion thing didn't help either, she figured, as an afterthought.

"Oui." She said softly, smiling, "But I am at a deesadvantage, Monsieur, you know my name, but I'm afraid I do not know yours."

Honestly, Terry had never understood the 'hype' surrounding Fleur at school. Whenever she'd come into the common room, all the boys would go speechless and all the girls would be infuriated... with the exception of Terry, who would be reading in the corner- or watching curiously. Apparently, he'd been told later by Michael, Fleur was part Veela- which meant, she had powers over men. Straight men.

Biting his lip, he kept a steady gaze on the girl for a moment- well, his left eye twitched slightly, but went unnoticed (by him anyway). A slight frown still on his lips, he sighed, "I'm Terry Boot."

Good. Now just give her your address and maybe this day can end with you dying.
Fuck.

The name rolled about in her mind a bit as she watched the man. Terry Boot.

"Ravenclaw, right?" She said softly. "We met during ze Tri-Weezard Tournament." She said with a smile recognition showing in her face as she recalled meeting him in her seventh year.

"I'm sorry, I am just 'orrible wiz names and faces. 'Ow 'ave you been?"

Padma had just left Fenwick's after a more than pleasant lunch with Anthony when, on her way back to the office, she happened to stop the back of a very familiar head. She could spare to be a few minutes late, really. Especially since she hadn't seen Terry in over a week, even if they had spoken over the journals more than a few times.

As she approached him, she noticed, however, that there was another person he was speaking to. A blond who looked vaguely familiar, though Padma couldn't place her at the moment. Both of them looked highly uncomfortable. Blitz must have commanded Terry to touch the girl in some way. Poor gal. She was probably scared out of her wits.

"Terry!" Padma said, moving in beside him and curling her arms about his shoulders and placing a brief kiss on his cheek without so much as really waiting to make sure he'd be all right with it. Hopefully, he wouldn't panic.

When the save had been rightly established, Padma turned to the other woman with a broad smile, "Sorry if I was interrupting anything," She said, ( ... )

Fighting off the very strong urge to run and not look back, Terry gave Fleur a very forced smile- but before he opened his mouth to humiliate himself any more, he felt an arm slither over his shoulders as a familiar voice called out his name. He'd been about to turn his head when he felt Padma's lips on his cheek- grimacing slightly, he kept his gaze fixed on Fleur as Padma interrupted.

"Hullo," he said very quietly after a moment.

The first thought that had come to Fleur's mind when Padma had appeared and kissed Terry's cheek was that possibly this one was as mental as Terry. The second had been to run, and it was the moment's hesitation between thoughts that sealed the ordeal.

"Fleur Delacour-Weasley." She said, extending her hand towards the woman.

Atleast she seems normal. Though on second thought she realized Terry had seemed normal as well.

"Not interrupting at all, Terry recognized me from ze Tri-Weezard Tournament. Just doing a bit of catching up after all zese years." She shifted her weight and grinned, "I spend a lot of time in 'is 'ouse while we were zere."

Fleur silently prayed the Padma would prove to be as normal as she seemed, because she was not sure she could handle another one like Terry.

"I know," Padma said. "Terry and I were in the same House. Though, I'm not surprised you don't remember me. It's easy enough to forget someone when there's two of them running around. Well, with the clear exception of Fred and George, but I'm sure you know that better than I would," She said, chuckling a bit. "And don't mind me, I have a tendency to ramble a bit."

"Hope this guy hasn't been giving you too much trouble," Padma said as she squeeze Terry's arm lightly as she turned to him. "Anthony's finally decided to come out of the woodwork, Terry. And he's still just as stuffy as ever. We're gonna have to figure out a way to get him to have some fun."
