Originally written as part of an app for Leonard McCoy at rubycity_rp but I'm stealing spiralstarfall's idea kind of proud of it, so I'm going to post it here. It takes place during one of the final scenes of the movie; specifically, when Jim is being officially promoted to Captain.

Jim wouldn't stop grinning while I was reading this, and I'm not quite sure why, other than his liking that memory and being all "yay Bones is proud :'D."

Though he's never really thought about what Bones calls himself in his head. :|a

Bones is all "fffffff he wasn't supposed to know" but :3

He doesn't really think about it much either, except for when he notices himself calling himself "Bones", and then he usually takes a minute to mentally swear at Jim for brainwashing him. He doesn't really mind, though~
