Unfortunately, yes. I save the velvet for special occasions; it is safely locked away at most other times. It would be impractical to practice piracy in velvet at any rate, considering the amount of sweat, blood, and grime it involves. It's a dirty business, but a profitable one -- and, of course, it's fun.

Oh, I would imagine it's vastly amusing. Especially your partnership with Captain Dreiberg. He seems like a nice sort.

Captain Dreiberg? Oh, he is. He is an excellent captain, though; his crew loves him, and he is quite intelligent. The Nite Owl is built differently than the Ozymandias, and we're able to combine strengths and cover weaknesses.

You'll have to move the pinecones out of the way, though... oh, and that might be a hedgehog... and the mice burrowed into the stuffing again, but that shouldn't have done much except to the back of it... that's a quill, I'll take that, and those bits of paper -- ooh, this one is my charm for remembering things, I keep misplacing it. I'll have to give this to Archie for safe keeping... now where is that owl...?
