I get excited making new friends. I love the process of getting to know someone, finding things in common, feeling a new connection with another human being, even if it's small. You're actually kind of a perfect example of how I like this to work out. Someone I'd only met online, immediately able to joke around and feel comfortable with, to the point that I invited you to crash with us before we'd met in person. And neither of us thought this was weird in any way. And we stayed up until the asscrack of morning talking about B-movies and TV addictions and god knows what else, and it was fun, so we're obviously doing this right.

Why can't everyone else understand how awesome that is?

(Ps. To people reading this, not knowing the backstory..... I didn't invite a stranger from the internet for a sleepover. lol...Ben is one of the other Amanda Palmer tarot deck artists and we'd become friends in the little online artist community that formed. We were going to the same Amanda concert, he was driving like 9 hours from home to see it, and we let him crash with us so he wouldn't have to drive back home in the middle of the night and fall asleep at the wheel and crash and die.)

Not crashing and dying is good. Making new friends is good. Win all around!

Ok, when did you get this account? You had me a little freaked out for a minute. I don't know anyone named Keith in Maryland who drunk dials me... ;)
