spamalot was pretty damn funny. you could really tell it was written by a python... alot of it had that distinctive humour. since the show was "lovingly ripped off" from monty python and the holy grail, alot of that film's jokes were rehashed and adapted for the stage version--a hit-and-miss strategy; at times, it was great, but other times, bits

i agree! the part with the favourite colour question and the bit about the swallow and the coconut was missed at the end. or at least i missed it. i also didn't love the changed ending. i kept waiting for the narrator to get mowed down or shot or something, but he never did, and the story reached a more full conclusion than it should have. alas. it was still awesome!
