the canadian recording industry association (CRIA) seems to be about to follow suit (pun intended) with their american counterparts at the RIAA considering the use of legal action to deter filesharing of copyrighted music. they're currently lobbying for copyright reform that will make it easier to sue canadians

i read slashdot for like, a day a couple weeks ago when i was playing with a bunch of syndicated feeds... there was too much crap i didn't give a shit about, so i gave up.
