over the last few weeks or so, i've downloaded and watched every episode of 24 up to present, and i have to say, i'm hooked. kiefer sutherland is a great actor, and does suspense very well. it's great to see serialized shows again, where one episode ends with a cliffhanger that the next episode picks up at. i can't help but chuckle at the people

Being someone who is also hooked on 24 (though, I haven't seen the first two seasons) I have had similar thoughts about the plot line about the president being involved with the terrorists. They did put in a short line about how he thought it would be 'for the good of the country' (or whatever) and that it went horribly wrong...but other than that minor effort, very little has been done to try to keep him as a "good guy".

we're hooked on 24 as well.
i've always had a mega crush on keifer, and apparently my boyfriend looks similar to him ( as told by my old boss who also had a semi crush on him) its a fucking awesome show ( as is lost - were hooked on that, too) and i think everyone is so into it, because they've grown tired of american idols , survivor, newlyweds and all that other highschool-hollywood dramatic garbage.

. .. at least that's why i like them.

since i moved to belleville in august i watch more tv than i have in the past 5 years.
oddly enough im the healthiest an happiest ive ever been, too.

one of my uncles works for cisco
and they have a thing called a "self-defending network"

and in one season of 24 CTU gets hacked into, and somebody says
"but that's impossible! we have a self-defending network!"

so my uncle shows that clip at R&D meetings
and the room explodes with cheers

lol, that's great... although i don't know how great an advertisement that is for cisco if it shows their system being hacked into.
