The guy who created the original "is love" banner ("marriage is love") runs a community I belong to (dead_babies) and has stated that he finds it pretty much recockulous that there are so many mindless offshoots of the original.

As for escaping reality... I completely agree. S'why "furries" gross me out.

i don't know if that's something i'd admit on the internet. you're likely to be bombarded with questions such as "omg, have you ever seen clark kent?? does he ever kiss boys??".
