So, I've been watching the baseball playoffs, which means I've been exposed to ads for Other Shows, and thus I started watching Sleepy Hollow.

This show has even less to do with Washington Irving's story than that movie with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci did, despite having a Headless Horseman and everything. So far, I have my love for Orlando ( Read more... )

Wow. I don't have a Tv, so have not seen it, but it sounds like they are not even trying a little. Of course you are right. I look forward to your post of Hessions and Tea Parties.

It's like they have one of those books you see, 100 Fun Facts About the American Revolution or something along those lines, and have made that their source for this.

Ahaha! We don't have a TV either, but from the description it sounds like they at least hit all the notes to attract a teen girl audience. Not only is the hero Intellectual (professor), a Man of Action (soldier) and a Stud Muffin (stubble and bare chest), but he's, like, undead!

He does Soulful Looks really well, and then there are all those angstful dream encounters with Katrina. Has a good grip on sarcasm as well.

He doesn't sparkle, though.
