All of the cats have been doused with flea dope. Three of these four cats recovered their equanimity within five (Jemmy) to twenty (Pretty Boy) minutes. Bob, of course, was the hardest to dose and is still not speaking to me. He was still sullen this morning, but that's his default setting. He seems to be scratching a bit less, so that's good, and since it's the main point of the exercise I'm good.

His idea of being matey in hot weather is to lounge on the bath mat when I'm in the tub, so if he's doing that this evening, I'll know where we stand!

How are your lot doing?

Ish likes to do that, too. A human in the bath must need a cat to pet.
My three are all flourishing, thank you. The weather has improved, so they are spending a lot of time outside, which, they tell me is Very Important and Meaningful. (It looks a lot like napping in hedges to me, but I am apparently ignorant in that respect.)
