Call to art folk

I was wondering if any artists on my friends list (lisis?) could help me to figure out what to do in the way of print making. There are services that will do it for you, but they are very expensive. Something like £50 to photograph/scan the picture, then about £10 per print. So i thought, seeing as the majority of my work is under A3, if i could ( Read more... )

All I can chip in for advice is avoid Canon. I've had the worst luck with Canons. Bleh!

Thank you! It's odd, i've heard that before, but i find canon are really great for digital cameras and stuff.

You don't even need an A3 scanner! I have an A4 one and just scan my big pictures in pieces and put them together in Photoshop. Though an A3 printer would be easier of course...

I have an HP Deskjet 1280 which prints A3s and is quite good! But it's old so there probably aren't any around anymore, but I'm sure there are newer versions that are even spiffier.

I have in fact just bought an A3 scanner, it cost about £150 on Amazon and was sold thru Media Wales.
I wasn't happy with "stitching" as its called on my A4 scanner myself.
