XD You probably wouldn't believe me, but as I was reading the first paragraph or so, I kept thinking "The Baron!" when thinking about what movie is my movie. Your movie tastes rock. *thumbs up*

I watched the shit out of that movie when I was little, thought the baron was the coolest thing ever, and Death scared the shit out of me, yet I was mesmerized by how it looked. And oh yeah, Uma made an awesome Venus now that I know the Botticelli picture more.

My original VHS of Munchausen no longer works. I watched it so many times, the tape is nearly completely ruined. I actually had a small case of withdrawal because I couldn't watch it. But it was released again on DVD this month, so I grabbed it immediately. :D

The baron played a great role in shaping me into a person I am tonight, and I'm truly grateful to that movie for that. I don't think another movie did that much for me, ever.

I think the design of Death was brilliant. It obviously moved on some primitive mechanisms, now that I look back, but that only added a creaky, shaking appearance to it that made it even more atmospheric. And I loved how they gave it an hourglass. It was a beautiful allegory for how death is inevitable and everyone's time comes at some point, so you must live your life to the fullest until then. Which is what the baron teaches everyone.

I can discuss that movie for hours. I don't think I found so much meaning in another one in my life, and I suspect I won't until I rummage the DVD store for other Gilliam

I vaguely remember seeing it when I was little. I thought it was cool, though :3

But yeah, movies like that are the greatest.
