How very therapeutic was that? Thank you for writing this and being if not the first, but one of the first writers in a whole brand new ship :)

This bit is my favorite:
The Doctor gestures with a nod toward the window of her room. “Is he in there?”

“Yeah.” He seems to wince a bit, nods and looks down at his shoes.

“Right. Have you...”

“Not yet. Doesn't seem right, without you there.”

Infinite tenderness in his voice as he tries again to explain. “He is me, Rose.”

I can see it so clearly, his trying to be reasonable, but still so clearly torn and jealous...*sigh*

Well done.

Thank you! Yes, I thought it was quite obviously killing the Doctor, leaving Rose with the other Doctor, giving him her and the life he himself had always wanted with her. But what else could he do, when he finds himself stuck with an extra him who just happens to be human and share his love for this human woman? *sigh* Argh. Hurts.
