Oh really, BBCA, WTF was that?!

So, the BBC America has this annoying habit of, after their current episode of Doctor Who Season 3, after the actual teaser at the end of each episode, then showing their own teaser which usually does a fantastic job of giving away each and every important plot point of the upcoming ep. So just now, after Blink, I was interested to see how they ( Read more... )

Sadly, that did not surprise me at all.

I've been watching BBCA all day (I tend to do that) and their commercial for "Blink" has been driving me mad: "The Doctor of Time meets the Angels of Death." Why don't they call him the Lord of Time, if they want to say things like that about him? Gah.

Gah! That's so annoying! I think though, that a lot of people have come to very much NOT trust the previews. If the previews were always true, every single characters on every single show would be dead.

Still though, absolutely - it's ANNOYING!

To be fair to the BBCA... I believe this is a repeat of Blink and Utopia. LotTL just aired last week, yes? So they're filling in spaces until they can advertise S4 on SciFi :-) But still. I know what you mean. But yay! Only 6 days more!

As far as I know, this is the first showing of Season 3 on BBCA...and I'm fairly confident about that, as I've been watching since they finished up Season 2 and was astounded by how far behind Sci-Fi they were (although at least their commercial cuts are better than Sci-Fi, my GOD). Still, obviously everyone on the face of the universe has seen Season 3 now, I just...Bah. Whomever made that preview is an idiot who doesn't comprehend the art of suspense!

Oh crikey! You're right. Sorry. SciFi has been showing S3 again at 5am on Friday mornings(EDT) so my dvr records them, hence my thinking they were further along than they are. Doesn't it seem like they both ran S1 and S2 all the freaking time and now we're lucky to get bits of S3? Or is it just me? Couldn't somebody play some S2?
So for reals--pffffft on you, BBCA! Eejits.
