Why David Tennant is bad for America

So, this morning I finally pre-ordered my Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD Fright Night combo pack (not that we have a 3D television or, indeed, a TV that we're positive will work with a Blu-ray player, see conversation below), and today Mr. gin and myself are going Blu-ray player shopping, which led to the following conversation

Aren't understanding hubby's just fantastic? Unfortunately I have to wait till FEBRUARY till Fright Night is out over here *pouts* I've had to make do with rewatching Harry Potter and the Tongue of Porn instead ;p

So dumb question that you will likely know the answer to: when is the regular DVD of Fright Night coming out, and will it have the same special features or will it suck by comparison. (We do have a fancy TV, but no Blu Ray player.)

Also, Mr. gin may be right. All that time writing fanfic did nothing for the economy. ;)

LOL. I do know the answer! The regular DVD comes out on the 13th (is available for pre-order right now), and no, sadly will not have all the same special features as the Blu-ray. Hence, why we're going Blu-ray shopping. :)

ROFL!!! I so love your Mr.gin stories! I'm not quite as bad though...when I started collecting DT's movies, I only had to buy a multi-region DVD player to watch them. Although this does kind of underscore your husband's point. If we all had to buy new electronics simply because of Mr. Tennant...

HAHAHA ! your DH is hilarious! i need a new tv (mine's nearly 15 yo) and want an all region BR machine. I'll get them in the new year but am waiting to see if i get the job at Brown. If I do, I'll wait til I move to buy them. I'm assuming that someone will put the extras up on MU so I'll be able to see them even if I don't have BR player yet.
