If you're charting and doing everything right (ie having that supersexy unspontaneous timed sex that couples trying to conceive know and love so well), you can cut the "Hmmm something is not working here" time down to about 6-9 months. Or if you chart looks utterly bizarre, you can take that in to your doc after a couple months. I found charting to be pretty geeky good times, tbh. Like, when you first read about it you're like, nah, my body doesn't do that. But then you start taking your temps and low and behold: it does!

See, that's what chaps my hide is that, we've been trying since February: if I'd been doing this the whole time, I'd probably be pregnant by now. Instead we've just been having Old Fashioned Unprotected Sex whenever the mood takes us, which, yeah...nothin'. Well, hopefully this new development will get us in gear.

It is quite interesting, I'll give you that!

Yeah, the old fashioned unprotected sex whenever you want only tends to work for people who a) are very young and thus exceedingly, stupidly fertile or b) don't actually want kids (because then Murphy's Law takes effect). OMG my friend M., who never ever ever wanted kids, and was dating the worst father candidate of all time, got pregnant at the age of 36 after ONE night of unprotected sex. One! Totally randomly! (She had the baby, and married the father but is now looking for a way to get rid of him because he is a terrible person and fatherhood did not change that.) If she actually wanted a kid that never would have happened, I can guarantee it!

you're really calling it a Snex-box? lol. hubby has one, but I rarely pay it any attention as he's usually on that when I'm on line.

Yup. Me too. Mine's first gen, as well. But I somehow lost all my games last time I moved, so I haven't played it in over 4 years.

Arkham City is awesome!

Make sure you go and talk to Calendar Man on Thanksgiving!!!!!

I've finished the main story and am now mopping up the side missions - I love just gliding around the city and beating up thugs :D
