I've got quite a few of them I should rec, honestly...little fills from the wonderful, brilliant Fright Night Kinkmeme where I pretty much spend all my time online these days, and I suppose one of these days soon I'll actually create a separate rec list. It's just strange, because they're all anonymous. The ones I'd rec are also mostly Peter/

I like Charley/Peter, and will read it, but i'm not sure I buy it. Not past friendly and flirty. Although the one you recced does put the it's been several years caveat. I think i'm mostly a fan of the buddy stuff. Which is SO weird to me. To prefer fic without smut! Well, maybe not really. I don't know! Peter is sexually confusing me too!

I was thinking about this last night, and it's funny, because while I've written several little Peter/Charley fics now, and while for some reason I can buy it...I can't get real graphic with it. Oh I'll read graphic and explicit if I come across it, just try and stop me, but I don't think I can write it between these two. And that for me is pretty dang weird as well. Maybe the age difference does, at a base level, weird me out a bit? Dunno, but my muse will only hint at sexytiems, then *FADE TO BLACK*.

'Course, when I look at the other fandoms I've written for, I've always had start innocent and work up to the porn...

I think the age gap is a big thing. A deterrent for sure. So I think when it's some time down the line or there are other extenuating circumstances (like those vampire apocalypse ones), i'm... a little less deterred.

I don't think I've even SEEN explicit Charley/Peter...

Oh god. Thanks to my icon up there, now I want Peter Vincent/Peter Carlisle. LIKE BURNING. The snark, the sexy, the damage. Even if Carlisle IS possibly the straightest character DT's ever played... (well, he did have no problem meeting Natalie in a bar called Funny Girls, 8:30).

God, the pronouns, the names! No worse than Doctor/Doctor, I guess. But what descriptors would be necessary. The Scot, the magician, the detective. Oh, my brain.

You couldn't even do what unfolded and I used to with the Doctors: "The Doctor with one heart", "The Doctor in brown", etc., because "The Peter in leather trousers" just makes me giggle. :)
