Worked for over 16 hours yesterday, didn't get to bed till after midnight, and in true fid_gin fashion I'm so excited about getting another three days off with Mr. gin, I couldn't sleep! So here I am, up at 6 AM, watching The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit for more research purposes, and for pure enjoyment of course, because OMG THESE EPISODES ( Read more... )

The speeches they give will always be the two moments in part 2 that do me in. They were just brilliant.

Oh, I adore these episodes. I love the way he comes to stand so close to her when he says, "I've trapped you here."

I know, right? There is SO much intimate dialogue and close moments between the two of them in these eps, it's like "Jeez, were you trying to make us all batshit-shippers or what, people?!"

My TIP fic, which has been a work in progress for... a bazillion years. One where they will totally be doing teh sex on the base... I have at the top of the fic a note to myself to include something about the little blush Rose gives at the "not if I see you first" moment before the Doctor goes down into the pit. And that little wave.

GOD I FUCKING LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

eta: Damn, I should finish that fic. It's kind of... weirdly paced though. They have a fight for like a second and then get naked. As you do. But it's off somehow. And naked is as far as I've got them. Hmpf.

And, the argument could immediately deteriorate to mad, flaily, arm wrestling-with-abandon that goes porny eventually....er, I mean immediately.
