Well that was nice. Sad, but nice.

Woke up way too early 'cause I wasn't sleeping well, and there was a mini S4 Doctor Who marathon going on on BBCA, so I sat and watched PiC, FoP & PotO one after the other. I'd forgotten how much that show used to make me laugh out loud. And cry, of course; always cry. Going back and re-reading my reactions to that entire season, I don't think ( Read more... )

MITCHEEEELLLLLLLL! Although TBH, I'd called his snuffing it and George being the one to do it about, oh, in the very first episode when we were told as much, but still...very sad, and they were JUST SAYING you can't come back from staking, so is that it for him then? Because I'm not sure if I'm up for watching the adventures of Two Werewolves and a Ghost, it doesn't quite work as well for some reason.

We can blame Aidan Turner for being so sexy being so talented as he's off being an elf in New Zeland. Though there is much speculation (no confirmation) that next season will be the last and there is great hope that the last episode, Annie will get her door and that Mitchell will be waiting for her. We know he can't come back, come back (though, it was Herrick that told him that, so consider the source), but we have no idea if vamps go back to Purgatory or if that's the end ( ... )

I'll add that I've heard that's definitely it for Mitchell and that Aidan is definitely off the show... but then again, Rose came back in the end didn't she? :-)

Yes, yes she did! And Aidan himself has said he will get six weeks off from filming at some point. That's enough to film a scene, isn't it?

Also, hi! Let's bond over our Nina!hate, shall we?

I like Nina. But that's just me (and papilio_luna, from reading below). :)

Here I am broadcasting live from Opposite World!

I'm glad Mitchell's gone, I found his vampire manpain boring and I FUCKING LOVE NINA. I'm totally down for the adventures of Two Werewolves and a Ghost, but I have a feeling some new vampire will insinuate his or herself into that scenario somehow, just to keep the premise of the show going.

YANA with the Nina!love; I adore Nina and always have, even despite her turning Mitchell in. I also agree with you re: Mitchell's boring, annoying and enduring manpain; I am over it, and I had been saying for weeks that the only way they could settle this train nonsense was to just kill Mitchell already. But I admit, as I did above, I'm not thrilled at the idea of this turning into the George, Nina and Annie show - back before he became an angsty serial killer, Mitchell brought something to the dynamic which I fear will be absent without him. Truthfully, Annie had also been bugging the living shit out of me this season, and without her to enjoy it's just George and Nina being cute werewolf parents together, which could get old REAL fast. But we'll see. :)
