Seriously. Four years of being a fan of the show, three different Doctors, several different companions, and the only thing that's changed is the location of the posted Rose-hate.

It's like the fanboys who cannot stop hating on DT. It's been a year since he regenerated, a year and a half since we started getting glimpses of filming with Matt Smith -- and these guys still cannot let it go, making tacky little comments at every turn. Yes, there's a new Doctor. He's not my Doctor, but I think he's doing okay and the show has weathered the transition better than the last time a super popular Doctor left. I'm moving on; why can't they?

The answer is that these folks always have to slag someone off; they're not happy if they're not and that's rather sad.

Anyone who hates on DT or Ten is obviously just a raving lunatic, so it's easy for me to ignore that nonsense. But I've talked to several perfectly rational, intelligent people before who just go completely off the deep end when Rose is mentioned, and I'm just like: "What the hell is wrong with you?! You do know that you're WAY more emotionally invested in this fictional character than I ever will be, right?"
