I have vague memories of it being on, but honestly I think it would have gone over my head back then. The extent of my knowledge of politics at that point consisted of watching the Eugene anarchist riots from my porch while sipping cocktails. :)

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH !!!!!!!!!!!! I was just writing a PM to lostmoon71 saying that we're both from Eugene and then I see this. It is SO true ! I had the advantage of growing up out at 37th and Donald so, even though dad taught there and were indelibly linked to campus, much of the crap didn't affect us (unless my brother was participating... which happened fairly frequently...) - though dad was vice provost for academic affairs in the 70s so he did have to deal with disciplinary stuff...

anyway, I'm SO glad that you're liking WW. When you said you were going to start watching it I wanted to say "YAY! YOU'LL LOVE IT! YAY!" but then I thought... "oh, wait, what if she doesn't ?"

I think I'm already...sort of spoiled on a couple things, from watching the little clips people have posted in the TV memes (which is what made me want to watch in the first place), but I appreciate that all the same.

I'm loving it. Seriously. Like, DT talking about how you just want to consume RTD's writing? Is how I'm feeling about this. And, of course, how I feel about RTD's writing as well, but you already knew that. :)

I'm so glad that you love it. I think Sorkin is the American RTD, or the other way around, if you so suppose. ^_^ When I first watched it, I so wanted Jed to be my Grampa..., and with all those cool guys and gals around as Aunts & Uncles...
