You're right, the more I think about it, the more in love I am with the idea of this immediately following it. Just at first I was like: *eyebrow up* "Well how's that supposed to work?" :)

Well, it has been said that the CiN clip is not the pre-titles sequence for The End of Time, as that would have been way too spoilery. It's just a random 3 minutes that happens at some point in the Christmas special.

*speculates* My guess is the pre-titles is all to do with the Master. And this is immediately post-titles, with the Doctor arriving on the Ood planet.

I listened to the little audio clip they had up of the clip they're showing tonight and it made no sense to me whatsoever, to the point where I couldn't even make out some of the words he was saying, but he's definitely on the Oodsphere there.

The outfit - other than the hat, shades and the lei - reminds me of 'Tooth and Claw' (which is a very fine look on him, imo)

Just goes to prove, though, that the man can wear absolutely anything and still look bloody gorgeous ;)

This looks in the previews to literally be the Midnight outfit; the black t-shirt is just kinda blown out here because it's bright outside lighting.
