Okay, first of all, I was listening to the podcast commentary on my commute home tonight, and just through the magic of alphabetical order, the track that came on when it was finished was "The Weeping Song" and I was like, "Yes."
Gadget: I love that everyone in the show pointed out how annoying a funny robot is, and that somehow just openly acknowledging this fact makes Gadget way less annoying.
The second cap of his sexy puppy dog eyes, it's one of those ones where if you cover up half his face, he's scowling, and cover up the other half and he's smiling.
This is totally ridiculous and tiny and fannish, but looking at the obituary ---
THEY HAD HER GO TO RICE! OMG, they looked it up and they had her go to Rice University in Houston.
No, I didn't go to Rice, but I spent most of my childhood just a block away and made good use of their library during my adolescence -- and, yes, they have an awesome math and science program, so this tiny detail made me very happy.
I love those shots of him turning and walking away. Even the back of his head is both sexy and sad at the same time.
Good point about the camera angles making him look small in those scenes where he's just standing there, inactive. Excellent job, Graeme Harper!
Because Tennant has mentioned in about 4 different places about the Doctor "raging against the dying of the light," I'm currently interpreting his "No" at the end as, "No, I'm not going to die without a fight." So when he's standing in the TARDIS looking emo, he's just thinking, "Fuck, I'm dead, I'm dead, I fucked up and I'm dead."
Now, will that fight cause him to make more disastrous mistakes? *shrug* My guess is, nothing on this scale, but time will tell.
Awesome picspam and commentary are great! My feelings are the same after the Doctor went crazypants!Doctor to the end of the episode. Thanks for making me feel better about it
