I've been pondering the appropriateness of wearing one of my DW t-shirts. I'm having a bunch of people over, all of whom enjoy Doctor Who but none of whom are *quite* at my level of obsession. I think it's probably obsessive enough that I'm even having this party and downloading this thing even though it hasn't aired here. So the question is, do I just damn the torpedos and go all the way and wear the t-shirt, or do I try to rein it in just a wee bit so as not to terrify my guests?

I say damn the torpedos. How many more chances are you going to get to wear your shirt while watching Ten? Not that it's necessarily a Ten-themed shirt but...you know what I mean. Special occasion, and all that.

It's indirectly a Ten-themed shirt, as it's the one that says "You never forget your first Doctor." *sob*

I'm doing laundry right now so I suspect it'll get washed and then put on.

About to head out for some groceries in my Ten-themed Chucks. Strangely, I don't have my usual gut full of fear and apprehension. Perhaps I've just got too much to do?

It's not so much fear and apprehension about the show itself, although I've a bit of that to be sure, it's most just this horribly agitated state I get into whenever there's a new episode. I have no clue what to do with myself until it's time to start scouring the internet for a download.

Me too! I get that too usually, regardless of the expected plot. I think it may be because I know I have plenty of work to do to fill the time before I can watch it.

At the grocery story just now, I had this weird sense like it was a holiday, and I was pitying the poor saps around me who didn't know it was a holiday!

Hee! I got a new quilt cover yesterday: brown and blue! I'm just making the connection now!

I'm nervous because it's the beginning of the end. What's going to happen to the poor guy? Is the whole thing going to end on a downer or a cliffhanger and then we've got to wait till Christmas? I'm baking choccie cookies so I have comfort food ready :)
